Rice Building Workshop
Rice Building Workshop
This project involved the design and construction of an archive for Project Row Houses, and community art organization located in Houston, Texas. After various iterations and configurations, a concept was agreed upon as well as the general breakdown of the space. It was separated into three major sections: a front more public area, a space strictly for the study and storage of archival materials, and a back area that includes the existing bathroom and a storage space that could be used for more delicate materials. It was a good experience to work as a group to accomplish a project of this scale and be able to see it through to fruition. It was a constantly evolving process with very applicable and invaluable lessons learned.
